Today’s Voice of Hope Verse
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
--John 3:16 (New International Version)
Today’s Voice of Hope Message
Whenever you want to know how much you are loved, just pick up your Bible and read John 3:16.
As a believer in Jesus Christ, we have a divine love that is beyond measuring. His grace supersedes all things. His love never ends. God loves us so much that all we have to do is ask and He will cleanse us from our sins so that we could be saved and able to enter into His Kingdom. His Son, Jesus Christ, pure and sinless, became the blood sacrifice for our sins. He bore our pain and suffering upon the cross and when He died, those of us who believe in Him were then and still are now able to go to Him to ask forgiveness of our sins.
It is like admitting we are guilty of something and we feel dirty. We go and take a warm shower to wash the dirt away. After that shower we feel clean and refreshed. That is how it feels to confess our sins to the Lord. He washes our sins away.
There is no sacrifice greater than to lay down our own life for someone else. Jesus loves us all. He laid down His life for us so that we could be freed from sin. He laid down His life for us so that we could have a way to enter into God’s Kingdom.
If we have sin in our life, all we need to do is lift up that sin to Jesus, and then ask Jesus for forgiveness of that sin. He will forgive us however many times we ask. And, as surely as we ask, we surely must believe that we are now clean and able to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.
The Lord will always be with you.
Today’s Voice of Hope Prayer
Merciful God, I need to forgive, and I need to be forgiven. Let your healing hands wash over me as I both grant and receive the freedom that forgiveness brings. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor.
--Psalm 8:3-5 New International Version (NIV)
Eternal God, may I know the value of the gift of life. May I think seriously of it, and not through abuse or neglect cripple it, remembering that it is mine to sow, to grow, and to reap. I pray that I may care more for the food and clothing of my soul than I care for the food and clothing of my body. Amen.
And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.
--Matthew 22:39 New International Version (NIV)
Lord God, help me to understand that true affection is not that which I give in expectation of a return. May I avoid being selfish and stubborn; and with my affections give peace and joy. Amen.
"Through Christ and scriptures, you will find hope and redemption."
