Today’s Verse of Hope:
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
--Ephesians 4:32 (King James Version)
Today’s Message of Hope:
As a living sacrifice for our sins, Jesus Christ shed His blood for us. Because of Him, we are forgiven and we are saved from our sins. Why then would we let the blood of Christ be for nothing? When we sin against Christ, He forgives us every time. So, if others sin against us – if others cause us strife and discomfort – we should forgive them the same as Christ forgives us.
In the spirit of what has been given to us freely, we cannot move forward into all that God has for us if we do not forgive other people who have done wrong to us. Forgiveness cleanses us and sets our souls free to receive all the goodness of God’s divine blessings. Forgive as you have been forgiven.
Today’s Prayer of Hope:
Lord, when You forgive us, we are forgiven indeed. Our sins are washed away, never to be held against us again. Thank you for Your great example of how to forgive. Lord, help me to forgive others as you have forgiven me. I love you and I thank you for your blessing in the gift of forgiveness. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Title: A Heart That Forgives

I want a heart that forgives
A heart full of love
One with compassion just like yours above
One that over comes evil with goodness and love
Like it never happened, never holding a grudge
I want a heart that forgives that lives and let's lives
One that keeps loves over and over again
One that men can't offend
Cause your word is deep within
One that loves without price like you lord Jesus Christ
I want a heart that loves everybody
Even my Enemies
I want to love like, be like you, just like you did
I want a heart that forgives, want a heart that forgives
Want a heart that forgives!
When the ones that are closes and that I've known the longest
They hurt me the most; I still wanna love them just like you loved me
Even though I'm hurting, God should know they hurt me deep
Ohhh, want a heart that forgives
When the pain is so deep and it's so hard for me to speak about it
To any one just like your son
I give up my rights to hold it against them with hatred inside
I want a heart that loves everybody, even my Enemies
I wanna love like you, be like you, just like you did
Wanna walk like you, talk like you, just like you did, Wanna be like you Jesus
Just like you Jesus Christ, I want a heart
Cause the heart that forgives that is the heart that will live
Totally free from the pain of the past and the heart that let's go
That is the heart that will know so much freedom
Do you wanna be free, my answer is Yes
Lord I wanna be free, my answer is Yes
God I'm tired of being bound, father my answer is Yes
I don't want this in my life, father my answer is Yes
God I'm ready to let it go, father my answer is Yes
God I'm tired of saying No, father my answer is Yes
I know you got so much for me, that's been hidden by my pride
You got so much for me, so much you wanna do with my life
Father help me let it go, Lord you know it's been so long
Father help me let it go, As I play to you this song
I don't wanna be hindered by the spirit of offense
I don't wanna be hindered by people that do me wrong
I wanna love them like you love me, wanna love them like you love me
Wanna love them like you love me, I want a heart that forgives
No matter what happens Lord, give me grace, give me grace
Lord no matter what comes, no matter what people do
I still wanna love them, I wanna love them, Just like you
Today’s Voice of Hope Verse
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
--John 3:16 (New International Version)
Today’s Voice of Hope Message
Whenever you want to know how much you are loved, just pick up your Bible and read John 3:16.
As a believer in Jesus Christ, we have a divine love that is beyond measuring. His grace supersedes all things. His love never ends. God loves us so much that all we have to do is ask and He will cleanse us from our sins so that we could be saved and able to enter into His Kingdom. His Son, Jesus Christ, pure and sinless, became the blood sacrifice for our sins. He bore our pain and suffering upon the cross and when He died, those of us who believe in Him were then and still are now able to go to Him to ask forgiveness of our sins.
It is like admitting we are guilty of something and we feel dirty. We go and take a warm shower to wash the dirt away. After that shower we feel clean and refreshed. That is how it feels to confess our sins to the Lord. He washes our sins away.
There is no sacrifice greater than to lay down our own life for someone else. Jesus loves us all. He laid down His life for us so that we could be freed from sin. He laid down His life for us so that we could have a way to enter into God’s Kingdom.
If we have sin in our life, all we need to do is lift up that sin to Jesus, and then ask Jesus for forgiveness of that sin. He will forgive us however many times we ask. And, as surely as we ask, we surely must believe that we are now clean and able to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.
The Lord will always be with you.
Today’s Voice of Hope Prayer
Merciful God, I need to forgive, and I need to be forgiven. Let your healing hands wash over me as I both grant and receive the freedom that forgiveness brings. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

Today’s Verse of Hope
However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me – the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace.
–Acts 20:24 (New International Version)
Today’s Prayer of Hope
Almighty God, if I am uncertain, and tremble at the crossroads in doubt of the right way, may I wait and be led by You, and follow on, even if the way be dark and rough. May I be faithful and have Your presence as You promised at the end. Amen.
