But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God chose you from the beginning to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth.
This thanksgiving, I will be visiting my family for the Thanksgiving holidays. We will all enjoy the company of each other, laughing, singing, dancing, and eating the most magnificent Thanksgiving Day meal. However, before the meal, we will all take time to pause and say grace.
Our time of grace is a moment in our lives when we stop and give love and thanks to our heavenly Father for all that he has done for us. If it weren’t for Him, we would not even be able to share such precocious moments with each other.
We are all sinners. We all have a price to pay for our sins.
Our Father, God, in His loving ways, gave His pure and sinless son, Jesus Christ, as a sacrifice to suffer the punishment for our sins (past, present, and future). For that, we are grateful. For that, we give thanks.
Have a purely blessed day!
